Vision and Founder’s Background
Under the visionary leadership of Karen "KK" Callier, KK1 is committed to delivering impactful, personalized services that unify, inspire, and elevate. Karen holds a master’s in computer information systems management from Keller Graduate School of Management, is certified in Holistic Health Coaching from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) and is a certified TV Studio Producer (2009) via Brooklyn Community TV BRIC. She has been a member of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NY-NATAS) since 2011.
Karen’s legacy of creativity and excellence extends back to the 1990s when, as "K Live," she championed emerging artists through dynamic showcases in iconic NYC venues. Her expertise culminated in the launch of Brooklyn Community Access Studio TV Show, which empowered urban youth and artists.
Her accolades include producing the TV Studio Show that aired from 2008 to 2009, hosting segments like "Beat of The Week" featuring Grammy Award-winning Easy Mo Bee and directing "Teens Live" and "Artists LIVE." Karen’s work has been recognized with credits in the 57th and 58th Annual New York Emmy® Awards.
Karen also brings substantial experience as a Subject Matter Expert for the NYC Department of Education’s Labor Law Compliance Management System (LCMS) and for LA County elections. She played a pivotal role in rolling out new e-voting machines, managing logistics, and training technicians, ensuring the integrity and operation of voting equipment.
