HIFU Ultra 7D Treatment

Prior to your MED: HIFU Ultra 7D treatment the following advice is recommended to ensure you gain the best possible results from the treatment and prevent any adverse reactions. The pre-care advice is as follows:

• Increase water intake by at least 1.5 liters
• Avoid any facial peels 4 weeks before treatment and microdermabrasion 2 weeks before treatment
• Male clients are recommended to come clean-shaven to their appointment
• We cannot provide the HIFU treatment if you have previously had threads within the last year
• Avoid any exfoliation or chemical peels for 7 days prior to your treatment
• Avoid alcohol consumption for a minimum of 48 hours prior to your appointment
• Allow 2 weeks before IPL treatments in the area that you wish to have treated
• Avoid sun-beds or direct UV exposure for a minimum of 1 week prior to your appointment
• Avoid any active skin care, for example, AHA's and BHA, and any exfoliating products 5 days pre and post-treatment
• If you have any open sores, acne, infection, or skin sensitivity in the area we cannot treat them with HIFU

We would recommend that you take some painkillers before your appointment as this can help reduce any pain from the treatment. Acetaminophen is the one we would recommend, and we would advise taking this 1 hour before your HIFU appointment. 

After your MED: HIFU Ultra 7D treatment the following advice is recommended, this will ensure you gain the best possible results from the treatment and prevent any adverse reactions. The aftercare advice is as follows:

• Avoid alcohol consumption for a minimum of 48 hours prior to your appointment.
• Avoid hot water, heat treatments (saunas, steam rooms, etc), or extreme cold for 24 hours.
• Drink 2 – 3 liters of water daily, keep a large bottle with you at all times and infuse with lemons and limes for flavor, this will help hydrate the skin and help to flush out toxins.
• Avoid sun-beds or direct UV exposure for a minimum of 1 week and apply SPF daily to protect the skin.
• KK1 will have different skincare to help after your HIFU treatment, the skin care should be used after your treatment daily and the directions on how to use each product can be found on the bottle/packaging.
• If you are using the Home Use Skin Rejuvenation RF & EMS Machine, you should do so after 24 hours and use it as directed by your Aesthetic Practitioner, if you are unsure please do not call and email the clinic so that the Practitioner can call you.
• The skin may feel dry after the treatment, therefore you should apply a replenishing/hydrating mask three times a week or apply hyaluronic acid
• Do not take aspirin or other anticoagulant medications as this can hinder the healing process
• Normal cleansing regimes can be resumed after 24 hours, although avoid using scented or fragranced products around the treatment area unless you are using the skincare given to you at the clinic
• Allow 2 weeks before continuing any laser/IPL treatments in the area that you had treated

* 3 – 6 months is the estimated time to see the maximum results, however, we have had clients report good results after only 4 – 6 weeks. 

 If you have any of the following health conditions you can NOT have the MED: HIFU Ultra 7D treatment:

• Liver or kidney problems
• Heart or lung conditions
• Suffers of physiological hypotonic (lacking muscle tone/muscle or tissue wastage)
• Blood clotting disorders such as, hemophilia or a history of thrombosis, including those taking blood thinners
• Post-invasive surgery (in the treatment area – wait at least 12 months, avoiding any scar)
• Clients with metal plates or joint implants, including permanent dermal implants (in the treatment area)
• Pregnancy & breastfeeding
• Clients under the age of 18

If you have any of the following health conditions KK1 may modify the treatment or work around the area. Doctors' notes may be required for some health conditions and these are as follows:

• Diabetes (patch testing is required)
• Hyper or Hypotension [high or low blood pressure] (May Require Doctors' Note)
• Clients who have donated or received organ transplant (May Require Doctors' Note)
• Recent Anti-Wrinkle treatments (must be more than 4 weeks after treatment)
• Fillers (the area is avoided)
• Cuts, abrasions, or bruising (the area is avoided)
• During menstruation (skin is more sensitive and recommends waiting)
• Keloid scarring (the area is avoided)
• The thyroid gland, thyroid cartilage, and trachea (the area is avoided)
• Major blood vessels (the area is avoided)
• Breast tissue or breast implants (the area is avoided)
