360 Cryolipolysis Treatment

360-Treatment-600
Cryolipolysis is sometimes called cool sculpting or fat freezing.  Cryolipolysis treatments are designed to remove stubborn areas of fat that are difficult to get rid of such as double chin, stubborn belly fat, back fat, and flabby arms. Cryolipolysis (Fat Freezing) sessions last approximately 1–2 hours.

The standard fat freeze applicators cool from two sides. Our 360 fat freeze applicators freeze the entire area and destroy more fat and target areas difficult to treat with standard applicators. The 360 applicators are guaranteed to destroy more fat cells in a single Cryolipolysis session than standard applicators. Due to the advanced temperature control and larger surface area, the 360 fat freeze applicator can produce better results in fewer sessions. KK1 Health and Beauty will be offering advanced technology and provide you with better results for the same price as our competitors. KK1 clients will lose approximately 30% of fat in the targeted area per treatment.

What is Cryolipolysis?

Cryolipolysis Fat-Freezing Process

During 360 Cryolipolysis treatment a cooling gel pad is placed onto the target areas. The vacuum applicator draws in the stubborn fat as our aesthetic practitioner talks you through step by step what is happening. The temperature inside the applicator drops, ad the treated area becomes numb. Clients experience a little discomfort from the vacuum's pull on their tissue, however, the discomfort resolves within minutes, once the area becomes numb.

The Cryolipolysis procedure was discovered by scientists who found that cooling temperatures cause fat cells to die. They found that when children ate ice lollipops they developed dimples in their cheeks from fat loss. Clinical studies show reductions in pockets of fat following a fat-freezing treatment while proving to be a safe and effective treatment.

Cryolipolysis Shapes and Sculpts Your Body

Cryolipolysis also referred to as fat freezing, has become a popular treatment across the world with celebrities alike having the treatment. Cryolipolysis is a non-invasive, non-surgical, clinically proven method of targeting fat in problem areas using cooling technology. There is no pain, and no recovery time, and treatments are suitable for women and men of all ages.

The fat freezing procedure is controlled cooling within a temperature range below – 9°C. This destroys the fat cells through a natural process called apoptosis (natural cell death), other cells are not as sensitive to fat freezing and are unaffected. As the fat cells are destroyed they leave the body through the lymphatic system. As a result, there is an average reduction of the thickness of the fat layer in the region of 25%–40%.

  • No Downtime - You can get on with normal activities straight after the treatment whilst the fat is eliminated from your body
  • Effective Results - Loose between 25% - 40% fat reduction per treatment area with impressive and natural-looking results
  • Non-invasive & Non-surgical – It is the most effective body treatment that reduces stubborn fat cells without the need for surgery
  • Long-lasting Results – You will experience gradual changes in your body shape for months after the treatment
  • Procedure Time 1 - 2 Hours
  • Full Recovery Immediately
  • Potential Risks Mild Redness or Bruising
  • Results Duration 6 - 12 Weeks
  • Number of Treatments 1 - 3
  • Sensitivity Mild Lasting 3 - 5 Days

Prior to your Cryolipolysis treatment, it is recommended that you begin to make changes to your lifestyle by:

  • Increasing water intake
  • Reduce the intake of toxins to the body (tobacco, alcohol)
  • Avoid alcohol 24 hours prior to treatment
  • Avoid having any laser hair removal, or laser treatment 2 weeks before the treatment
  • Avoid other non-surgical body contouring treatments 1 week before treatment
  • Avoid excessive sun exposure (sunburn) on the same area you wish to have treatment 2 weeks before treatment
  • If the skin is red, irritated, or broken, we cannot carry out your treatment until the skin has completely healed
  • Please avoid caffeine and fatty foods on the day of treatment
  • Please wear loose fitting clothing, no tight jeans etc
  • Reduce intake of carbohydrates Increase the consumption of fruit and vegetables
  • Please avoid a heavy meal an hour before treatment

We would recommend that you bring a change of clothes as during the treatment we use antifreeze membranes, which are very wet and sticky. Do not worry these do not damage or stain your clothes, however, if you are going out in public after your treatment, you may prefer to have a change of clothes.

In order to achieve optimum results from your Cryolipolysis treatment, we strongly recommend the following:

  • Drink 2 – 3 liters of water daily, keep a large bottle with you at all times and infuse with lemons and limes for flavor, this will flush out the crystallized lipids (dead fat cells) out of your body through the lymphatic system
  • Exercise a minimum of 1 hour per week as this will assist in the metabolism of the dead fat cells and contribute to a healthy lifestyle
  • Follow a healthy eating diet plan (we offer these on our website, head over and click 'Shop' and then 'Healthy Eating Plans') and reduce your intake of alcohol, carbohydrates, and caffeine during the treatment program
  • Regular body brushing at home is a great way to stimulate the lymphatic system to naturally eliminate the fat cells, do this twice daily for 2 minutes
  • Avoid hot baths or showers, steam or heat treatments for 24 hours
  • Avoid Aspirin and Ibuprofen during the treatment program
  • Lymphatic massage will accelerate the process of removing the fat cells

* 12 weeks is the estimated time to see the maximum results, however, we have had clients report good results after only 4 – 6 weeks. Although the number of fat cells is reduced during Cryolipolysis treatment, clients are still advised to live a healthy lifestyle as this will help maintain results.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I need to rest after Cyolipolysis Treatment?

No, the great thing about Cryolipolysis treatment is that you can go about your day as normal straight after treatment. KK1 does advise that you increase your water intake by 2 – 3 liters, practice regular body brushing, and follow all aftercare advice given to you. This will help flush out the dead fat cells through the lymphatic system and improve your health and well-being.

How long should I wait after childbirth to have Cyolipolysis?

You must wait for a minimum of 6 months after the normal birth of your baby or a minimum of 12 months after a C-section. It is best to get GP approval post-childbirth prior to commencing treatment. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this please contact us and we will be more than happy to assist.

How soon can I see results from Fat Freezing

You may see results after 4 weeks, however, the full results will be seen after 6 – 12 weeks. We do request that you come back 6 weeks after your appointment for a follow-up appointment and then again at week 12 for a final measure and photo if appropriate.

How long will my results last from Fat Freezing?

Fat cells are destroyed permanently. After Cryolipolysis treatment the fat cells are destroyed by a natural process called apoptosis, the fat cells are removed by the body through the lymphatic system as a waste product. As the fat cells are removed body as with Liposuction, fat will not deposit again in the same area that was treated.

How much will Cyolipolysis Treatment cost?

The cost of the treatment varies depending on the requirements of the client, for example, the number of areas treated. RT Aesthetics recommends that all our clients book a face-to-face consultation, this allows the aesthetic practitioner to discuss the areas that you would like treated and design a treatment plan based on your own individual needs. KK1 will be providing Cryolipolysis treatments at a more affordable price than all our competitors while using state-of-the-art technology (360 fat freezing), which is crucial to the success of the Cryolipolysis process. Happy clients are our number one goal.

What happens during Cyolipolysis Treatment?

After your face-to-face consultation, measurements, and before treatment photos have been taken you will have a cooling membrane (which looks like a big wet wipe) placed onto the area being treated. The 360 fat freezing applicators is placed onto the treatment area, suction is applied and the stubborn fat is sucked into the applicator. The applicator begins to cool to the desired temperature of below -9 degrees. Cushions are then placed around the applicator to keep it in place before the suction pressure is reduced for the remainder of the treatment. You can then enjoy the rest of the 45 – 60 minute treatment how you choose, for example, reading a book or magazine, listening to music, or enjoying a rare opportunity for some peace and quiet. At the end of the treatment, the device will be removed and a massage of the area will complete the treatment.

Where does the fat go?

Through the process of fat freezing, the fat cells become inflamed and your body sends out specialized cells that gradually digest the affected fat cells. Lipids from the fat cells are slowly released and transported by the lymphatic system to be processed and eliminated, resulting in a reduction of fat. Fat cells are flushed out of the body as urine and it is therefore important to drink lots of water after your treatment.

Will Fat Freezing work on loose skin?

Cryolipolysis is not designed to tighten loose or stretched skin, however, we can still help! Depending on where the loose skin is located and how much is required treating we have 2 non-invasive treatments available. The first was Radio Frequency (BTL Exilis Ultra 360), and the second was High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (MED: HIFU Ultra). Both treatments cause tightening of the skin and lead to the reduction of excess skin.
